Ege by Nishane is a fresh-aquatic unisex fragrance that was released in 2020. The scent is fresh-aquatic. The name "Ege" means "Aegean" in Turkish. The fragrance is a tribute to the shared skies and culture of the Turkish and Greek people who are the neighboring residents of the Aegean coasts. The perfume opens with the the the zesty freshness of yuzu and the sweet and fresh notes of anise and violet leaves. As the top notes fade, the heart notes of basil, mint, and green cardamom become more prominent. Basil adds a sweet, slightly spicy and balsamic tone, while mint brings a cool, refreshing note. Green cardamom contributes a sweet-spicy aroma with hints of eucalyptus. As the perfume settles, the base notes of frankincense and liquorice become more noticeable. Frankincense, also known as olibanum, lends a deep, warm, and slightly spicy aroma that is often associated with incense. It has a balsamic spiciness that is soft, fruity and fresh, yet also rich, sweet, woody and slightly lemony. Liquorice adds a sweet, woody and slightly medicinal aroma.
