Nanshe by Nishane is a unisex fragrance that was launched in 2020. The name "Nanshe" is dedicated to the Sumerian goddess of fertility, water, and social justice. Nanshe was believed to be the patron of dreams and prophecy, watching over orphans and widows, overseeing fairness, fresh water, birds, and fish, fertility, and favoring prophets, giving them the ability to interpret dreams accurately. The fragrance opens with top notes of carrot seeds, cardamom, yuzu, and bergamot. The distinct, earthy aroma of the carrot seed is underscored by the tangy sweetness of yuzu. The freshness of bergamot and a hint of warmth from the cardamom subtly pepper the introduction. As the scent evolves, the heart notes bring forth a bouquet of floral notes lead by the aromatic rose absolute.
