Arabesque by The Merchant of Venice is a unisex perfume that offers a blend of sweet, oriental, spicy, gourmand, and fruity accords. The fragrance was released in 2015 and is inspired by the ancient Venetian route, the Muda del Trafego which was headed towards Tunis and, following Africa as far as Alexandria, ending in Beirut. This route was used to import valuable raw materials such as citrus, sandalwood, oregano, myrtle, mastic, and black mustard.

The top notes open with the juicy sweetness of ripe plums, complemented by the earthy and slightly sweet aroma of tobacco leaf. A hint of zesty ginger adds a touch of spice to the opening of this fragrance. In the middle notes, the warmth of cinnamon mingles with the creamy sweetness of tonka bean, creating a comforting and inviting scent. Cedarwood adds a subtle woody element, grounding the middle notes and allowing the oriental and spicy aspect of the perfume to shine through.
