Annick Goutal's Rose Pompon is a vibrant and sparkling floral fragrance that was born from a duo of roses and raspberry,  resulting in a delicately gourmand and round scent. The fragrance was developed by Camille Goutal with perfumer Philippine Courtière, and is designed to evoke a "young Parisian woman" who "exudes joie de vivre". The name "Rose Pompon" is inspired by Rosa Centifolia, also known as the pom-pom rose for its round head with many petals that make it look like a pom-pom. This rose with 1000 petals plays tricks on us and keeps telling us that we should not trust appearances. 

The top notes of the fragrance include grapefruit, raspberry, blackcurrant, and pink pepper. The heart notes are Taif Rose, Bulgarian Rose, and violet. The base notes consist of patchouli from Indonesia, benzoin resin from Thailand, vanilla, and amber.
